Fort King, nom de guerre for Ryan Fuller, a songsmith who grew up in Ocala, FL and resides in Los Angeles. Steeped in old folk traditions and country blues like Mississippi John Hurt, his outsider view of LA life made him something of a citified crooner of New Weird Americana. “Black Palms” is a dirge of nascent teen suicide in a country setting. “Osceola” highlights the psychology of the Seminole Indian warrior, much as Neil Young chronicled new world holocausts in his “Cortez, the Killer.” Heartbreak is also a theme and Ryan’s fingerpicking and soft delivery have invited comparison to Elliott Smith.

Ballerina’s killer are husband and wife and their friends, play raw punk rock music with strong influences by the alternative scene in the 90s. Such as The Breeders, That Dog, Lush, Elastica, Sonic Youth, Mudhoney, etc etc.

The name was taken from a newspaper headline about a serial murder named Antonio Sanchez that murdered Julia Busken, a Ballet dancer.

Sharesprings is generally classified as a noise pop band in jakarta. formed (2006) with lineup consists of billie (bass & vocals), rusli (drums), tyza (guitar & vocals), ardhi (vocals & guitar) employing swirling, noisy guitars in an indie rock landscape from the late 80s. the band’s inspired by yo la tengo, my bloody valentine, and rocketship. in the beginning (2003), ardhi relied on a dream pop band, sasmita. disbanded (2005),

directly asked tyza assisting him for a solo project. later, they’re both teamed-up a band of les alison. one day, to complete performed they invited rama (bass) and rusli (drums).sharesprings was finally named in 2006. the band established the element of late 80 and early 90 music. with a simple structure indie pop concept combines in shoegazing style and a noisy atmosphere settings. rama left the band who was quickly replaced by billie. bridging the gap between the indie pop of yo la tengo and the noise of mbv’s early, sharesprings intended a reputation by sustaining the “tweegaze” songs.

Blazar! (Matthew Haywood) is a 17 year old UK based musician currently creating low-bit chiptune music.
He incorporates a style of metal songwriting into his music and plays technical shred guitar fused with his low-bit songs in live situations.
He is currently writing more music for future releases using a wide range of equipment and techniques.

Nada-nada yang di buat dalam kompilasi ini umumnya menggunakan “toys machines” seperti game boy, Nintendo, Atari , dan mainan-mainan klasik lainnya yang mengingatkan kita pada masa dimana super Mario dan Donkey Kong berjaya melawan musuh-musuhnya. Ada juga beberapa software yang di gunakan atau beberapa efek game klasik untuk menciptakan nada atau visual game itu sendiri.

Kompilasi ini di buat untuk memperkenalkan kepada orang luas tentang games music (8bit music/chip tune music). Di buat dengan penuh suka dan gembira untuk memuaskan hati bagi pribadi maupun orang lain,dengan memperkenalkan juga beberapa artist 8bit music lokal yang mulai bermunculan dan di lihat dari masih sedikitnya orang yang tertarik memainkan musik ini dan audience yang belum cukup banyak tau akan hal ini maka album kompilasi ini di buat. 8-bit can refer to a style of electronic music inspired by the sound of old computer consoles from the 8 bit era of video games. This music will often reflect sounds from technology that is seen as primitive or “outdated” such as the Game Boy and home made synthesisers.

MOS 6581 and 8580 Commodore 64 SID chipsA chiptune, or chip music, is music written in sound formats where all the sounds are synthesized in realtime by a computer or video game console sound chip, instead of using sample-based synthesis. The “golden age” of chiptunes was the mid 1980s to early 1990s, when such sound chips were the most common method for creating music on computers. In their desire to create a more complex arrangement that the restrictions posed by the medium apparently allowed, composers developed creative approaches when developing their own electronic sounds. This is due to the early computer sound chips having only simple tone and noise generators imposing limitations on the complexity of the sound. The resultant chiptunes sometimes seem harsh or squeaky to the unaccustomed listener. Chiptunes are closely related to video game music. The term has also been recently applied to more recent compositions that attempt to recreate the chiptune sound, albeit with more complex technology.

Game Boy music is a type of chiptune produced using a game system of the Game Boy line. To produce music of the genre, one needs a Game Boy and a cartridge containing the appropriate software. There are several pieces of software available, but most Game Boy musicians use Nanoloop or Little Sound DJ.
